  1. In a small bowl, combine the salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.
  2. Rub the spice mixture onto the pork shoulder.
  3. In a slow cooker, mix together the BBQ sauce, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, and chicken broth.
  4. Place the pork shoulder in the slow cooker and cover it with the sauce.
  5. Cook on low heat for 6 hours or until the pork is tender and falls apart easily.
  6. Remove the pork from the slow cooker and shred it using two forks.
  7. Place the shredded pork back into the slow cooker and mix it with the sauce.
  8. Toast the hamburger buns and place a generous amount of BBQ pulled pork on each bun.
  9. Serve the BBQ pulled pork sandwiches hot with additional BBQ sauce and coleslaw, if desired.
