Texas Jambalaya is a flavorful, hearty dish combining rice, sausage, chicken, and shrimp, all cooked in a spiced-up tomato base for a bold, satisfying meal.

  1. Add oil into the saucepan and place on medium flame.
  2. Add celery, onion, and green pepper and cook until soft.
  3. Add garlic and cook for one minute more. Then, add sausage, ham, and rice and cook for two to three minutes. Add green chilies with tomatoes and chicken broth and stir well. Then, add bay leaf and thyme and bring to a boil. Lower the heat and cover the pan with a lid. Let simmer for 20 to 25 minutes. Add beans and combine well.
  4. When done, remove from the flame.
  5. Transfer it to the serving bowl.
  6. Serve and enjoy!
