Fried pickles are a tasty and crispy snack that's perfect for game day or a party. This recipe uses simple ingredients and can be made in just a few easy steps.

  1. In a shallow bowl, combine the flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
  2. In another shallow bowl, pour the buttermilk.
  3. In a third shallow bowl, pour the panko breadcrumbs.
  4. Dip the sliced pickles in the flour mixture, then in the buttermilk, and then in the panko breadcrumbs, pressing the breadcrumbs onto the pickles.
  5. Heat the vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large pot over medium-high heat
  6. Fry the breaded pickles in the hot oil for 2-3 minutes or until they are golden brown and crispy.
  7. Use a slotted spoon to remove the fried pickles from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
  8. Serve the fried pickles hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
