This decadent chocolate cake is a rich, moist dessert made with layers of chocolate goodness, perfect for any occasion. Its smooth, velvety texture and intense chocolate flavor will satisfy any sweet tooth.

  1. For the Cake:
  2. Butter and flour the cake pans.
  3. Add dry ingredients into the bowl and combine with a stand mixer.
  4. Add wet ingredients into the bowl and whisk to combine.
  5. Combine wet and dry ingredients into the bowl.
  6. Place the batter into the pans and bake for 35 to 40 minutes at 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  7. Allow it to stand for 10 minutes.
  8. For the Chocolate Butter cream:
  9. Add 2 tbsp of cream and semi-sweet chocolate into the bowl and microwave it for 40 seconds. Stir well and keep it aside.
  10. Whip the butter for 2 minutes with a stand mixer. Add salt and ¼ cup of cocoa powder and combine well.
  11. Add confectioners’ sugar and stir well. Then, add cream and beat it well.
  12. Add melted chocolate and stir well.
  13. Pipe the butter cream between each layer.
  14. Press the cocoa nibs to the bottom of the cake.
